An effective UAV delivery launcher system requires a launcher and a truck. The truck should be a non-military, small, lightweight four-wheel drive vehicle that blends in with local traffic. Aircraft need to be in as complete a condition as possible for quick deployment, secured in robust protective cradles. The system should allow easy deployment of aircraft from the storage cradles to the launcher. Additional storage is needed for fuel and ancillary equipment for the launch. In this case, the standard truck flatbed has a lightweight custom frame fitted with tie-down points for drones, launcher boxes, and compressors. The frame features a custom fabric cover with lockable flaps. The compressor weighs 90 kg; therefore, a boom and manual winch are provided to assist with deployment and recovery. The cradles are custom-made to suit the specific aircraft. The truck is not specific; we source from around the world. Frames can be constructed locally to facilitate transportation.
